Privacy Policy

TubeStatPro ("we", "our", or "us") operates a read-only dashboard built on the YouTube Data API v3. This policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and your choices. You must accept this policy before using TubeStatPro.

1. Information we collect

• Search input you provide. Video URLs, video IDs, channel handles, playlist links, search keywords and similar queries you enter into the dashboard.
• Technical request data. Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) generated by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
• Public YouTube API data. When you submit a query we call the YouTube Data API v3 and display the publicly available response in your browser (titles, statistics, thumbnails, comments, channel metadata, etc.).
• Analytics data. Google Analytics 4 may collect page views, approximate location, browser/device information, referral source and interactions so we can understand how the site is used.

We do not require user accounts, do not ask for your YouTube login credentials, and do not sell your personal information. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may process device and usage information to measure the service and provide, measure and protect advertisements as described below.

2. How we use information

• To send your query to the YouTube Data API v3 and return the response to your browser in real time.
• To operate, maintain and protect the service against abuse (including rate limiting).
• To debug technical issues when they occur.
• To measure page usage, traffic sources and site performance through Google Analytics 4.

We do not sell or rent the YouTube queries or API data you submit to advertisers. We do not use API data for purposes unrelated to providing this dashboard.

3. YouTube API Services

TubeStatPro uses YouTube API Services. By using this application you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Data displayed in the dashboard is fetched from YouTube’s APIs and is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

What we access via the API: publicly available video metadata and statistics, channel information, playlist data, search results, trending lists, and public comment threads based on the query you submit. We use a server-side API key and do not request OAuth access to your private YouTube account.

How we store API data: YouTube API responses are forwarded to your browser and are not persisted in our databases. We do not cache API responses on our servers beyond the lifetime of a single request.

Derived metrics: Some values shown in the UI (for example like-to-view ratio or average views per video) are calculated by TubeStatPro from API statistics. These metrics are clearly labelled as calculated by TubeStatPro and are not official YouTube metrics.

4. Data retention and deletion

• YouTube API responses are not stored in our application databases.
• Server access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes and then deleted.
• Your browser may store UI preferences (such as the last selected tab) in localStorage; this stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Because we do not maintain user accounts or persistent API data stores, there is nothing for us to delete beyond standard server logs. Stopping use of the service is sufficient to end data processing on our side.

Deleting data displayed from YouTube on YouTube itself requires using YouTube’s own tools or an authorised client that supports deletion. Removing data from TubeStatPro does not remove anything from YouTube.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

TubeStatPro stores essential preferences, such as privacy acceptance and the last selected tab, in cookies or localStorage.

After you accept this policy, we may load Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense Auto Ads. Until you agree, advertising and analytics cookies are not enabled. Google Consent Mode defaults keep ad and analytics storage denied until that acceptance.

Google and its advertising partners may then use cookies, local storage, IP addresses and device identifiers to measure site usage and to deliver, personalize (where permitted), limit, measure and protect advertisements. Personalized ads depend on your location, browser settings and the consent you give here. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser and review how Google uses information for advertising.

Our AdSense publisher identifier is pub-5919095852072660. The authorized digital sellers file is published at /ads.txt.

6. Third parties

We use Google’s YouTube Data API to answer dashboard queries, Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage and Google AdSense to fund the service through advertising. These services may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser/device details, page URL and consent signals. Their processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Children’s privacy

The service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your choices and Google account permissions

• You must accept this Privacy Policy before using TubeStatPro and before advertising/analytics scripts load.
• You can stop using the service at any time.
• You can clear locally stored preferences and the consent cookie via your browser’s site settings.
• If you have granted any Google/YouTube permissions to other applications, you may review or revoke them at Google security settings. (This app does not request such access, but the link is provided for your convenience.)

9. Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect server-side configuration and logs. API credentials are kept server-side and are never exposed to browsers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
